Having moved from a bugeye to a hawkeye, I too really don't like how the hawkeye seats feel. I have therefore just purchased a set of bugeye wrx seats for my hawkeye.

If I was to buy Bug WRX seats for my blob WRX, what resistor would I need and would they bolt straight in?

3.3omh ... have a read of modrich's thread posted above, it details all you need to get the job done, along with some good pictures.

Further to my previous comment I've done a bit more reading and it seems that there are a few more sensors in the Hawkeye's smart airbag system which need some additional work:

Drivers seat position sensor
Passenger seat occupant detector sensor

Have a read here for more information: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=996050

Not gonna be as simple as I first anticipated ...
