Hi all,

Bought a Hawkeye center with the assurance it was a direct fit but upon delivery it didnt have some of the critical parts needed to fit it (I know, buyer beware and all that)

Anyone help me identify by name what the parts circled are called and/or where I may be able to source them?

I think this part which is circled looks like is it Radio support bracket something like this

Finally got round to getting that part and getting it all fitted, need some help though please. THe radio brackets no longer fit and even if I aim to fettle them the angle is wrong. Anyone know if the 05 brackets are different and perhaps suggest a good breaker or source please?

Also I didnt realise the lower bracket needed is shorter

 

The MY05/06/07 brackets etc, are all the same.

Deffo different mate, I am going from a 03 blob, the brackets on the sides of the stereo result in the unit being too high, the panel wont seat in the dash and there is approx 6mm gap at the bottom of the stereo :-(

Not sure what I am doing wrong other than to deduce that the brackets screwed to the side of the stereo are angled differntly and have the mounting tabs in different place

 

You need the Hawkeye ones as the early blob ones are different
