Today I had someone rear end my car so called KM, they give me a number to call and when the lady is reading the terms she said if any personal injury claims they will take 25% of it, I have never known this with Aplan when i was with them and my car got hit............. Is this right what KM do?

The rules regarding PI claims changed in April last year.

 

25% is a bit harsh though.SJ.

TBH its news to be, but I did hear that's the way insurers/brokers will be doing it now.

The company who deals with our claims are very though of with the insurers, and would do anything underhand, so I assume this is now the 'industry standard'
