1 day cover
car needs a mot and its going to cost me nearly 40 quid to insure it for 1 day to drive 1 mile down the road! cant get it any cheaper, anyone any ideas

Hpi check £20 with free 7 days insurance? Dunno where you stand with you already owning the car, but I've done it before.

I paid about that recently to cover myself for picking up before I got proper insurance sorted out, I managed to knock a bit off by putting the excess up a bit.
