Are these cars best avoided, what are the pitfalls when buying one of these? How much does it affect their value?

I would imagine being driven without mechanical sympathy would be my major concern.

It wouldnt bother me well it would but it will obviously be reflected in the price id much rather have a stolen recovered car than an accident repaired 1

O and seeing you,v put it in the insurance catagory i presume your asking if it will cost more? Be valued the same? Insurance shouldnt cost anymore and theres no reason why they should know it was stolen recovered. As for value id insure it for the same value as an unrecorded 1, reason being it will still cost the same to replace or repair

not in a buyers eyes but say the book price on the car is 8k the stolen recovered car is for sale at 6k insurance have to pay you book price so you could replace the car, your rite the car is on the register so is not worth the same as a non registered car but it will still cost the same ammount to replace in an accident
