just ran a ouote for insurance as my wifes is due next month , and all the quotes that we have had are a joke . we paid 700 fully comp last yr when we bought it and that was with me as a named driver as i dont use it as much as she does . the quotes we have been getting are around 1100 to 1700 . my wife has 3 yrs no claims now which seems to have made it more expensive from having 2 yrs . any one know a good company to try as its becoming a complete joke .

You'll probably find a broker is better than the internet quotation options..

aviva quoted me 1200 quid for my 94 wrx in august last year but i lost my job before xmas decided to sell the wrx due to running costs and sticking to subarus bought a bugeye gx non turbo i called them to swap the insurance over and my payments went up by 50 quid a month, if i cancelled the policy they wanted over 200quid so i was left with no choice but to stay with them lol work that out half the power but another 400 quid to insure for the price difference i might as well of kept the wrx
