STi Prodrive Insurance.
#1
I am getting a new Prodrive Type UK STi in the next few weeks, I have tried a number of companys that do have the Type UK STi on there list, but when I mention its the Prodrive version they say it does not exist.
Has any one had any problems insuring one ? or know of anyone that will ?
Thanks.

I've just got insured with PRIVALGE I already had insurance with them and got them to transfer from MY99 TURBO to STi7 PRODRIVE upto the end of the insurance year !! (3 months) £89.
But they did it on a STI7 import! and they did note it was a PRODRIVE!
I was happy. CHEESY

I spoke to Privilege today whom I'm presently insured with. I double checked that they recognised the STI Type UK Prodrive name on their database and was told quite categorically that yes it was there. Obviously, if past experiences are anything to go by chances are that another operator will have no idea what it is
To upgrade from my modded MY97 turbo (£534 per year) its another £121 for 6 months.
