Default Best Insurance for modified?

Phoning around for a couple of quotes at the moment an they're coming back astronomical in my opinion or maybe I've just been out of touch with the performance car insurance for the last 2 years anyway can anyone recommend any where to try I have already tried Adrain Flux & Skyinsurance and I'm trying to hit up moley @ Kieth Micheals and A-Plan at the moment is there anywhere else worth trying?

The car is running approx 400 bhp with mods.

Another vote for Gary on this one. Was with A-Plan a few years back but on some ridiculous scheme where I couldn't take the car out at night and had to be in a locked premises from dusk to dawn approx. 1 mile form where I live etc.. With the Tracker switched on. Moved to Keith Michaels, saved £300 in the process and can use the car anytime and without the need for having the tracker on
