Well no they aint
If its a dealer option they are not too bothered (ie PPP and Prodrive alloys) but the second i mentioned the Brembo brakes they said "oh its not a dealer option, sorry we cant insure you!"
Why not?! they are better than the standard items to start with!! now doesnt that make the car safer?? (my present insurance co thinks so ) and ok, got totally naffed off about the d/p.....
I think the insurance companies are just going for the easy money (ie low risk areas where your more likely to have your car stolen/carjacked etc as its easier and there are more expensive pickings).
