just renewed my insurance thought i'd share my quotes;

27 yrs old
1992 Legacy 2.0l turbo
value £3500
full protected no claims
parked on driveway
cat 1 alarm + imob.
exhaust system, air filter & alloys

Privilege - £620 (12 months x £55) £350 excess (current insurer)
Tesco - £612 (£118 deposit - 10 months x £53) £200 excess
Chris Knott - £612 (£122 deposit - 9 months x £58) £250 excess
Adrian Flux - £581 (£178 deposit - 9 months x £52) £250 excess
Schofields - too high (£7-800's)
Greenlight - too high (£7-800's)

Tesco was the winner with a lower excess and better finance (i.e. lower interest, i think, don't get your calculators out and prove me wrong )
