Having a quick read through these posts its seems like nobody insures imports.
Just had a quote from Flux:-
1996 STI -Standard
I'm 31, Full no claims, Edinburgh postcode, Engineer.
£1050 Comp £300 exe
I thought that was a bit steep.
Should I be looking at someone else?

Flux are very expensive and a pain to get thru to:
Cheapest quotes I got for a similar car were from:
A Plan specialist division - with Axa as the underwriter
and Barclays
Privelge might have come down in price?
Phone numbers on a search
They were much cheaper than Flux!

Ring A-Plan - 0845 0711234 and ask for Lee or Jay
Best quote for me on my STi for the last 3 years by far.
Try Jon or Tom at Schofields as well, they were close...
Flux were actually pretty good this year as well...
