Default I wonder.... Hmmmm

I am currently running a fiesta st on motability. I am insured with royal and sun alliance and they say because i dont own the car they do not provide no claims bonus, but they are quite happy to provide me with a letter showing my claims history.
Now can anyone tell me, if/when i leave the motability scheme and get me an impreza turbo etc etc .. would this "letter" be good enough proof to claim i have no claims bonus??

Yes, some companies may be able to work with it but a lot of companies are going to want to see experience of driving an impreza or a similar vehicle.
