Look for Competition car insurance they normally cover Japfest, used to be able be buy it on the day

insurances with them may have changed since i used them last
Excess is normaly high and only covers Body/suspension damage, no mechanical damage. If your car is valued at £20K, get insuranced for 50% of value eg £10k. insuring it for £20k will only mean 3 times the premium and twice the excess and may only payout £10k anyway IMHO but thats entirely up to you
Castle Combe normally have helmets there around £50 deposit & £10 hire but i take my own or just borrow one for the day
