Help, can anyone recomend an insurance company? Currently driving MY97 PPP, 4yrs NCD, no convictions etc, Age 23, Cat 1 + Tracker monitor. Paid £2400 for March to March. Looking around now & getting no joy online, most companies wont quote! Elephant just quoted £4153.80 online!

This year will be age 24, 5yrs NCD!! - surely i must be able to save a grand or is this not possible? Very tempted to sell up as £6.58 / day insurance is doin my nut!

PS - Is it me or is age the only important factor? - NCD doesnt do F.All anymore!

 

I just got £1701 for me being 23 with 1 year NCD on my MY00 from direct line's website. I'm currently with them and paid £2400 for my last 12 months. Been trying to find out how much to expect it to go up for adding PPP.

Im 22 and i pay just under £1500 for the insurance on my MY95 WRX Import. Thats with tesco, but i had to have a cat1 alarm and tracker fitted.

 

Just been online with tesco - £1284.15! (nice ) - anyone know what PPP will increase policy by?

heading towards a grand lower than the last twelve months

 

Tesco said they will insure me 21 4 years ncb live near liverpool with protected ncb for £1500 abouth £1200 with out protected ncb,

Phone Tom (Rum* on here) at schofields, number is 0113 250 0377. He insures me (27, MY94 WRX Wagon, modified)

 

You may find that Tom is unable to insure you if your under 25 but give him a try anyway
PPP added 10% more to my policy, and you could always try direct line best quote anyone gave me!!

You may find that some insurance co's wont insure you if you have a PPP fitted to your car (stupid i know) but thats how it goes unfortunately

Yea sorry...we can't insure anyone under 25 on standard UK Scoobs....and 24 on imports....don't ask why...its just the underwriters at Groupama say thats the way it has to be...sorry...
