How do you value your insurance?
Another SN thread set me thinking about what is proof of good value for insurance?
Basic key prerequisites are a company that:
1. Is easily contacted.
2. Gets the documentation right
3. Takes the right money on the right day each month
4. Has a reputation for paying out promptly and fairly
But then there is also another way of looking at it too.
Is it on the basis of £x per £1,000 of the perceived or agreed value of the vehicles or, for enthusiasts/petrolheads should it be £y per BHP?
For others it might be £z per 1,000 miles which certainly might have been the case for me in the days when I used to cover 50K annually.
Any thoughts, SNs?

It really does vary massively.
Lots of people just want the cheapest possible, but i find nowadays a lot of folk will look at more than just the price.
Biggest factor a lot of my clients query are mods.
a) Will they be covered like-for-like?
b) Will there be a big increase if they add more mods?
People with performance cars do tend to take more interest in what they get for their money than people with normal cars.

I used to go for the cheapest, then I found moley who offers great service, great price, and you don't get ripped off with price increases every year.
P.s. Gary you have pm,
i'm desperate for some cover and the office is closed over the weekend.
