I'm trying to get a quote of less than £800 for a 94L UK spec or £1200 for a 94L WRX import. I'm 31, Is this the norm or are there any cheaper companies out there?

Try getting a quote from Norwich Union Direct. You can get an online quote instantly. I paid £749 last April (I'm 35, full NCD, no points/claims car garaged high risk area).

Worth trying your local NFU Mutual insurance agent(believe it or not!). Premium for my '93 wrx (35yrs, full NCB, no garage) costs aprox £640!

Do as Jerry says. I'm with schofields, and am 27, with MY94 WRX Wagon, which is modified somewhat, am paying aprox 1400 (I think) which is not too bad considering others wanted at least 1700 - 2500 quid.
