when doing on line quotes.

i want to get a price for me car (Smart 4/2 PURE, 599cc)

I have insurance at the mo for about £240 F/C (last years price)
I'm main driver, with my wife on insurance and my sister.

Now, when you 'add' addition driver... ie: spouse and my sister

they ask has anyone made a claim.


does that mean on THIS cars insurance policy.. or on any other insurance?

as... i've not had any claims on my car/s, but my sisters ha two calims in the last five years on/in herowncar.. One her fault about three years ago and a non fault accident (someoen ran into the back of her) more recently.

Now when they ask do they mean on anyone elses policy that they have with their own car?


reason i ask.. one site asked for details of accident and it made out that it was MY claim.. with my name llsited. I went back to alter details to make sure the claims were against my sister.. but it still came back listing me as the person who calimed for the accident.




can someone explain this.
