right heres the situation im in...
got the scoob covered under ecar insurance. no problems there, until the bloody gearbox went. so, the cars gone away to be fixed and i obviously needed something to get me and her to work.
bought a little cinquecento and decided to get temporary cover on it.
ecar do a monthly policy and it came at £87 to cover it from 16th dec 07-15th jan 08. expensive but i couldnt put my years ncb from the scoob onto it.
now i slightly concerned as i dont know if il have the scoob back by next tuesday when the monthly thing runs out on the cinq. but i dont wanna have to pay another 87quid when the chances are il have the scoob back within say two weeks, plus ive already agreed to sell the car to a friend of mine as soon as the scoobs back.
has anyone any suggestions on this. may call ecar on friday and see that if i pay for another full months insurance, but then cancel it before its up, do they do like a car tax rebate thing for the amount of days left.
advice please??

As apposed to insuring for one whole calendar month you may wish to utilise other schemes which allow you to insure the vehicle for one week at a time. I would have hoped on a vehicle such as that one you could secure several weeks of cover for less than the previous monthly fee paid.
that help ?
