Currently paying £1100 for my 04WRX with elephant. Just had the renewl letter as it's due to run out end of august and they want £1154. How does that work????

Have you tried directline or greenlight, both were under £1000 for me

 

I always try confused .com, saves a lot of ringing round.

 

Then call the big insurers that won't quote with them afterwards, like Direct Line, Tesco, Norwich Union etc.

Tesco can be good if you have a tracker.

I had plenty of quotes,and found Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels by far the best.He well switched on regarding Subaru,s.

 

Confused doesn't deal with the specialists like Keith Michaels and A-Plan. I'm with A-Plan and pay less than half your quote on a modded MY05 WRX. Obviously, it all depends on age, address, points etc, but well worth trying them. Contact details are on the sticky at top of this section.

Noticed that you want to mod in the future (insurance permitting). I've done more than that and A-Plan didn't put the price up!

If you try Keith Michaels, speak to Gary direct. I tried getting a quote off the website and it came back "quote declined" on an (at the time)standard WRX, full no claims, no convictions!!!

 

Performance Direct, £600 fully comp inc the missus inluding my 9 points!!

I tried Elephant this year and they wanted £1200. I then got my renewal from Privaliege and they wanted £415. Direct line only wanted £425 as well
