Question

I'm looking to get my Clio insured for some trackday (ab)use

My road policy does not cover trackdays, so it looks like I'll have to take out a separate policy or switch insurance companies to one that covers me for both road & track.

Who are you guys insured with for trackdays, how much does it cost & what does it cover???

I'm 22 with 3 yrs no claims & 3 points for speeding !
I currently pay about £1200 for my Clio 172 with Tesco Insurance.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Jon

The only company I know is Egger Lawson aka Competition Car Insurance.

I pay about £55 per event for £5k of body/chassis cover with a £750 excess, but I believe that this is a special deal for SIDC members.
