Default Max NCB question?

I've got about 6 years NCB now, but if I cancel my policy I will obviously loose out on the pass 6 months which could turn into the 7 years. Does this make a big difference when getting quotes, would it be much cheaper for having 7 years NCB instead of 6?

I hope someone can help

Agree don't worry about it, most insurers give you the majority of the maximum percentage discount at 4 years. Anything after that will earn very little extra discount.

Its that way in Ireland too. Once you go past 5 years (for most companies) NCB you dont get any further policy reductions as they see it that you have gained maximum NCB.
