Just a word of warning......

I have been with the above company for ~9 years (through various corporate name changes etc) and recently notified them of my PPP on my MY01. After much discussion they declined to cover my car stating they would not cover any modified cars! Moral of the story- check with your insurance company BEFORE moding your car.

The silver lining to this cloud is I went to TESCO and they did not have a problem witht e additional power etc and saved my ~£200 on a like for like quote.

 

Don/t want to sound rude here, but I am currently with the aforementioned company and I am fully covered for full stainless steel exhaust and uprated brakes (didn't cost a penny more either!). I may change soon because their quote is now 902 pounds (MY97, full S/Sport Exhaust and uprated brakes, 3yrs no claims, 29 years old!)

Could it be down to your current address?

A named driver on mine has points and they quoted for me!

Tesco require a tracker - make sure you DONT get caught

NU gave me a quote of 3.5k im 33, full prot ncb, 4 accidents (2 non fault, 1 hit and run and 1 50/50) and none in the scoob!!
they just dont like anything thats high risk IMHO, so if you have a corsa 1.2ls you should be ok but anything else you wont be [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
