anyone used this site to get a quote?

they seem to mess up the exact model of the cars but still quote for "as close as they can get"

im 22 with 5 yrs NCB and have had a lil ding in a hire car(4 years ago) and some1 has crashed into me(3 years ago) and wrote off one of my cars.

all in all i stay in safe area and have 5yrs ncb protected now

coming in at under a grand fully comp for me

seems ok anyone insured with them? theres not a nasty hike when u call to buy the quote?

cheers

Ring em up and see what they say. (I'd be interested to know.....and if they can't give you the price quoted ask why)

Also try confused.com. Personally I would only use either of these sites as a guide to the best prices, then ring the top few.

This year I'm probably going to go with Greenlight as they gave me an excellent quote for this year (email query so far, have yet to ring them but already the best price I've had).

Don't be afraid to keep going back to the ones who have given crap quotes before.

When I first got the Scoob, Admiral were best, Norwich Union silly money. The "usual suspects" like Liverpool Victoria, and a lot of the specialists like Adrian Flux (and maybe even Greenlight at that time) all silly quotes. Come renewal Admiral wanted about 30% more as I'd picked up an SP30. NU then came in about 60% of the previous year with Admiral . Go figure. Mind you I wouldn't reccomend NU to anyone wanting straight forward insurance as they buggered mine up well and truly. Sorted in the end, but not for those who want things hassle free or have even the slightest thing out of the ordinary!

Anyway, Greenlight looking best for me this year - Admiral now even more and Elephant (same company!) want twice Admiral!
