What sort of money are you paying for your insurance??

My renewal has come up for my 05 spec C with Tesco at £1930 ?? (with 5 points on licence)

Any recomendations on any other good insurers as sure i should be getting a better price than this by now, or is this a fair price?

All advise welcome

Best quote I've had for my renewal was from Keith Micheals at £650 fully comp. I'm 27 with 3 years NCB, on a JDM STi, no points.

Try A-Plan, Green Light, and Keith Micheals (phone Gary direct) - I'm sure they'll put Tesco to shame

That's a good price. Which model of STI and what's it valued at if you don't mind me asking? Do you have any mods?

Cheers

Hi Guys,

I was going to reply individually, but didnt want to spam the thread.

From the kind of rates that you're saying on here sounds like we can help most of you.

Our cover is good and we have relevant benefits (ie. Track cover option, like for like replacement of modifications, European cover).

Greenlight are a specialist vehicle Insurance broker, we are mods friendly and have good technical knowledge in this regard.

So.. if you get 5 mins pop onto www.greenlightinsurance.com or call us on 01277 263030 for a quotation .

Kind regards

Tony

well, i may not be 26 but i had no choice but to stick with adrian flux at the time, in a way i was scanked. i was insurring a different car for six months, but then got a scooby. now i had to start again with the scoob as the insurer i was with wouldent touch a scooby. i lost six months. but if i cancaled with the brockers i was with, i would have had to pay the rest of that year + the one for the scooby. but i now should of had 5 years no claims. , the best of it was. i asked them if thay would insure the scooby first, but when i got the thing. thay wouldent . still, i'll give you a try in october. see if you can beat 1,200+
