I was informed that mods are covered by A-Plan. Would be interested to know the full truth on that one......

Are you sure A plan didnt say they will "cover your mods", which doesnt necessarily mean that they will replace like for like ???

They will insure with them; but if you come to make a claim then they wont replace modified parts nor will they include the value in a total loss settlement.

If you have mods then youre better off with Keith Michaels in my opinion.

I would always advise to check with the broker to be clear.

It should state in your policy booklet, but if in any doubt don't be afraid to ask. Worth knowing exactly where you stand.

Check with them.....there is a big difference between 'covering mods' and replacing mods like-for-like
