Thumbs up A-Plan strike again.

After reading the good reports from people here regarding A-Plan, I gave them a call this morning for a quote on my STi.

They certainly have lived up to their reputation as I was quoted £719 with a £450 excess for the following:

MY04 STi 2004 on a 54 plate
PPP
PFF7 alloys
Prodrive spring kit
STi strut brace
Defi BF gauges
STi front splitter
40 year old male
No convictions
No accidents
Car rental manager
Garaged
8000 miles pa
Safe postcode
34 year old female
Insurance underwriter
No convictions
No accidents
Fully comprehensive cover
Protected no claims bonus

It was so refreshing to speak to someone that knew precisely what I was taking about with regards to PPP and the additional modifications.

Ben, you’re an absolute star and have won my business.

Kevin

Has anyone ever had to claim of A-plan?.

Reason being I paid £700 for my UK Turbo through A-Plan I even paid all up front
(mistake) 2 months later I had to sell my car to pay for a family members funeral
rang A-Plan to cancel I received a cheque back for £240 I was not very happy I did expect to lose some money but i thought £460 for 2 months insurance was a bit over the top.

So has anyone had to claim from them I would want to know how they paid out.

Be careful cheapest is not always the best...........

A-Plan for me now too

32 y/o 8 NCB (Protected), No accidents/convictions + 33 y/o Missus

New MY05 STi PPP + PFF7's + Spring Kit £1049 + £500 Excess

But then Greenlight said they wouldn't insure me on a car that was valued over 19k - shame really cos Tony@greenlight (off here) had been a great help on getting me a good quote on my outgoing WRX.

Andy

EDITED TO ADD: I left Elephant because they have a clause in your cover that states that in the event of a complete loss they cancel your policy - what good is that?

Rang A-Plan this morning.

Can't beat elephant, their cheaper price scheme is for 22 yrs old +.
Said they were going to have a word with the underwriters to see what they can do, and ring me back, haven't so far though so i'm not too optimistic.

Thumbs up

Just to add - they we're by far the best for me too!!!

£789 27 male 8 year ncb (protected) o5 wrx sti PPP no points but 1 claim 4 years 9 months ago. Nearest other was keith michaels on £1100. Probably helped that I had a few years experience driving fast cars though.

Thanks
Andrew
