Having been with Liverpool Victoria for the last 3years, I think its time to change. Last year quote had gone up by £30 but I thought no point changing now what with all the mods I have had done. This year quote has just come through at nearly a £1000, previously £830.
Called A-plan earlier this week, £739 fully comp with mods.
I am happy with that.

 

I have just got my renewal from Liverpool Victoria £405,I have been with them for three years 75% ncb.After reading about the mod situation on here I rang them and asked what their policy was on mods,since Nov 04 no more mods to be done?I said that I didn't receive a letter stating these changes to my policy,and they said that I didn't have any mods listed so they didn't need to inform me.Their get out clause(Do anything to the car as long as you don't change the CC,keep invoices and photographic evidence)What a laugh,bye bye LV hello A-Plan £454 protected all mod recorded.

 

I wish I could get my scoob insured for less than £500.
Out of interest Merv how far did you go in declaring all your mods, the guy at A-Plan said even if youve have changed the gear **** it needs declaring.
Sound a bit too extreme.

Just need to get back to them listing everthing but not sure how detailed I should go.
