Just cancelled my policy with Admiral after they wanted to put the premium up £99 to over £900 due to the cars value being £10000 instead of £8000. This seemed a bit much as they are supposed to pay out the market Value and not what's regarded by the owner as the value. Would they off put it up by £1000 if I said that my 93' WRX was worth £20,000. PROBABLY

This comes 2-weeks after cancelling my policy with Privilige who set an excess of £600 when they quoted a £500 excess over the phone. They also wantd to charge about £70 for direct debit, which was also not mentioned on the Phone.

I am currently with Hyperformance @ £775 Fully Comp, 28Years, Cat 1, Full NCB and garaged. This is also protected which the Admiral Policy was not (which again wasn't mentioned when the policy was taken out). Let's hope I have better luck third time round......
