Help - Urgent! Green Cards

Help!
Does anybody out there have experience of getting a Green Card for more than 30 days, as I'm off to Belgium for a couple of months and can't stand to be without my Scooby for that long!
I've phoned my CURRENT insurers Admiral
, who say they will only give me a Green Card for 30 days, and only for holidays, not for business, or even for driving to a single place of work 
If anybody knows of an insurer that will be better - please let me know
At this rate it looks like I won't make the 555 club birthday bash

A guy here at work had the same problem he resorted to saying he wasn't using it to commute to and from work and renewed his green card each month.After a discussion with his insurance company (Eagle Star at the time)that was there suggested.
