Thumbs up Another thumbs up to A-Plan

Had my renewal from L&V went up by over £200!! 45year old 75% no claims no points car garaged etc, etc. Tried loads of Insurers but Rob/Darren came to my rescue with a quote similar to last year So if you don't want to be ripped off give them a call on 01635874646.

Thumbs up

Just moved my insurance to A-Plan from Tesco, struggled to get any other quotes last year and paid £1035, 1995 WRX RA no mods, 8yrs NCD, 3 points (4 years old) parked on drive, just me (26) to drive with tracker etc.

Renewal was £1093! Phoned Elephant, £921.90 for myself and gf same details and Darren at A-Plan managed £879 with exhaust, induction kit, boost controler and ecu totalling 25% bhp gain!

Fantastic.

Highly recommended.

Don't be surprised if the premiums go up substantially next year. I was with A-plan last year for £899, which was good at the time. This year they said that the underwriter was not prepared to continue the policy, and the best any other underwriter was showing was £1300+. My circumstances had not changed, just one year more NCB, so I find it strange that others are getting such good deals. I'm now with Keith Michaels for £725

Agree with Jig, L&V did the same with me, cheap as hell the first year then £210 increase, £500 to £710, you really have to keep shopping about, having said that £710 wasnt bad so at the mo im with them, but I will be trying A plan soon

Renewal from L&V on STi 02 PPP was 958. Another vote for A-Plan though renewed at 819 with protected no claims and didn't require tracker.

Darren mentioned that there had been rumours that protected no claims can't be given if under 35 but this ain't true.

Sounds line A-Plan are the daddies this year... re-newed mine today with them also, one of only 2 companies who would touch me!!!

1998 type r + lowered & 18" alloys. 1 driver of 24 with 7years NCD, tracker cat1 and garaged.

A-plan = £1057 protected

Tesco's = £1376 protected but no mods!

As for everyone else, the usual, "not until your 25" line!!!!!!!
Can't wait for the excuse when i am 25...............

Cool

Despite some of the recent comments on here my L&V renewal came through only £8 more than last year at £659, but still got it cheaper at A plan for £599.
UK97, H&S decat, Hybrid EBC & 17in alloys all declared.

Just tried to insure a 99 jap spec wagon with a few companies,a couple wanted over 1k and my current insurer wanted £750 plus needed a tracker to be fitted so added up to about the same if its roughly £350 fitted plus years subs for the tracker.

Rang A plan after reading a few recomendations on here and it was a totally pleasant experience dealing with them, knew exactly what they were on about,no messing with having to go check with others to see if it was ok...all sorted out in about 5 mins £650 fully comp, protected ncd myself (39) and the wife to drive (33) no tracker neededed.... thumbs up
