Try NFU in Northampton. I'm 32 and was paying £630 on a modified MY98 Wagon (far more mods than you).

Give them a try 01604 - 883726

Been with them for 3 years now. First time it was £630, then upto £730 with mods declared, and then dropped to £680, then £630 this year IIRC.

Talking Impreza insurance

I'm insured with privelidge. It costs me £680 for an 03 WRX with PPP and 18" PFF-7 wheels and protected no claims. I know a WR1 driver who also swears by Privelidge. Its worth a quote. My first year with them by the way cost £795 so it seems to drop sharply if you have a good first year with them.

Privelidge said they couldnt even match the norwich union quote of 1018! They said they wasnt that botherd about insuring scooby so thier prices are high? If you dont mind me asking how old are you? Just wonderd if it was something to do with my age (29)
