Looking to get a second runabout in order to keep the Scooby in A1 condition but struggling on insurance. Basically I’m looking to buy a knacker for a few hundred quid, just something small and cheap to run like VW Polo. It will only do a max of say 1000 miles a year and I’m looking for limited mileage or similar as I really need to keep the costs down and will have to start as a second policy with no no-claims, etc.

Any ideas on companies that might specialise on cheapo policies?
