Default insurance woes!

Help!!

I am strugling to find a quote for less than £2000.

My current insurers (admiral) dont list the Type R, and they arent sure if they can insure it. It's a bloody call center in india too! I just want to speak to someone in the UK

who is everyone else insured with??

I'm 28, clean licence etc.
3 years no claims (was on my dads insurance for years)
Live in cheshire!

Help!!

Paul.

Quick search of recent insurance threads should help. For example - http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=356898

Type R's are a nightmare to get insurance for, I've been trying to get mine insured for the last week and have had noting but problems. Not many companys have them listed, even the so-called import specialists ones, and those that do are asking a fortune.

Think I'm going to go for Privilege as they're doing a price match deal at the mo but the next cheapest for me was Osbourne and Sons 0871 222 8247. Wanted £850 but I'm 31 with 8 years ncb. Don't think they wanted a tracker either.
