Default Privilege Insurance rock!

Just got my renewal quote from Elephant.co.uk....£904

I decided to shop around and got the following quotes:

Tesco - £783.30
NU Direct - £776
CIA Insurance - >£1000
Admiral - £930
Performance Direct - >£1000

Privilege - £528.15

26yr old Paramedic, 5 years no claims, 96 UK Impreza Turbo with Cat 1 and RAC Tracstar.

That's a very good quote indeed, but do check they haven't inadvertantly quoted you for a Impreza sport or other non-turbo model! Believe it or not, that does happen quite often!

I've gone to privilege from LV. LV quote was £930, Privilege was £518 but i need to install a tracker. Also got a bit of a shock when I informed Privilege of my Prodrive backbox - anohter £99 added to the premium!!!!!

Yep, checked and triple checked. All details are spot on.

@GaryCat - My quote at LV was similar.

Just changed from Churchill to Privilege myself. STI 03 PPP for £642 with protected NCD !

I just changed to Privilege too £490ish I think with Tracker on a MY03 WRX, £915 without Tracker via Churchill on my renewal up about £150 from last year, Churchill were still £750-£800 with a Tracker. Full NCB protected and wife included, adding my wife to the policy usually reduces the amount too I found out.

My mate did a couple of test quotes too, new WRX 5door parked on drive £530 and 53 reg RS Focus = £430.
