Insurance Problem
Need some advice please !
Ex - Girlfriend smashed her car last week in to someone else damage wasnt that bad on her car but the other party's looks like a bit of a write off (so i am told)
Problem is ................ I insure her car & she insures mine as it worked out about £1500 cheaper
I contacted the insurance company & told them about what happened & they have referred it seeing as the Laguna is in helens name but i insure it, as far as i am aware it said Spouse/Partner blah blah then it was ok ?
Will the say the insurance is void ??
I am ready to kick off as its my no claims bonus as well thats going to get it
Cheers in advance
Stephen

The ins company will have asked if you are the registered owner/keeper of the car - what did you say? If you said no then I would guess you're in the clear.
Just a thought but what was the approx value of the other car, hundreds/thousands??? Might be an idea to just pay them out of your own pockets as if it's your ex you have this arrangement with chances are you wont'r be doing it again come renewal and you'll need that NCB.
