its quite hard to find someone to actually insure at all under 25.

would definately have to be a uk car, unmodded to stand the best chance, I would guess that your premium would be in the region of £1500 - £2500 depending on the car and insurers etc.

Good luck

Try Tesco. They insured me when i was 23 on a brand new WRX, UK car.

I had no ncb and it cost around £1800, as i remember.

If the broker can get that price, thats probably not that bad when you look at age and car - then add the scooby penalisation that we all seem to get on insurance quotes and its probably pretty good.

Chris
I think Tesco have an no one under 25 policy now (however will honour existing policy holders a renewal quote) and they insist on a tracker....theres another couple hundred for that!

Tesco are definatley worth a try i paid £900 last year 23 and 4YNCB and this year £840 the cheapest quote by far. Only problem with tesco is that they usually require a tracker to be fitted.

i am with Tesco (23) and on a uk my00 (£11000 value) i pay £2500 with G/F fully comp they then changed the policy to 25`s and over and they wont quote you on the web but they have changed it again to 23 and over and when my insurance is due next month, i hope my renewal quote will be cheeper then the new quote. i did which was £1600 fully comp ive saved this quote which is valid for 3 month just incase the renewal is more

very weird how they work

regards

Jud

Liv Vic wouldnt quote me online (23) for a uk turbo, hell when I rung up they woudlnt even quote me on my renault 19 saying I had to be 30!!

Tesocs however will insure me on a uk turbo with tracker for 780fc, 4 years ncd lowest postcode, kept on drive. The under 25 thing is for imports with Tesco so a uk car is ok. I can an online quote with them for a uk car now no problems, have just done one (Luckily the scooby im looking at already has a tracker)

Might go and try admiral now though

Avoid admiral, cant go back into why they are so crap, but if you were to make a claim you would figure that out.

Heh won't be touching them, UK Turbo, that'll be 2 grand please.

Tescos are the only decently priced place atm, elephant is a second place with double the cost of tescos!

I'm 22 and was quoted £1150 by Tescos on an R reg WRX STi import.. I've got 5 years NCB and Pass Plus..!

Tesco's policy is 23 and over for the Scooby! (Thats what they told me) but as i'm already a policy holder with them.. they'd insure me now! Wahey!

I paid £3600 on MY99 the first year. Watch out for tescos as they $haft you for any mods you do

Me "just phoning you to let you know I've added an exhust to my car"
Tescos " no problem sir that will be £300 extra"

Not sure about the specific vehicle but for 21 and under try the following:

http://www.admiral.com
http://www.acceptdirect.co.uk
http://www.elephant.co.uk

I think they are all pretty good for younger drivers.
