Default Second car insurance

I am looking, ideally, to buy myself a second car (205 gti) at the end of the year as my weekend bit of fun whilst keeping my 'sensible' car for the daily commute.

Not sure how this is going to work out yet, but I have wanted one of these since I was 17 and now, at the grand old age of 22 I should in theory be slightly more insurance friendly.

When doing the insurance quotes online with regards to the amount of NCB I have, do I actually put down the 4 years I have on my main car or treat it as 0 NCB due to the fact that its a second car?

Cheers

David

It depends on the insurance company...

I have an Impreza turbo and recently purchased a TVR Griffith as a second car. My insurance co (Bell Direct) said I could have full NCB on the Griff (but not protect the NCB) as I had a policy with them already.
