if so where and what was it like trying to get it insured...

I haven't but I'd imagine it would be quite expensive as they'd class it as an STi with modifications cos it's not factory standard.

Good luck though.

PS - I use egg.com and they are very good with power and aesthetic mods, only small increases on the premium. And they were the cheapest quote for my UK Turbo
