My last 2 cars have been keyed now and I'm due to pick up an impreza on saturday.

Just wonderign if any of you guys have taken out malicious damage insurance, and if so who with and at what kind of cost

I've never heard of malicious damage insurance as such. However, Comprehensive insurance covers damage to your car however it is caused (not just accidental damage). The drawback is that if you make a claim you lose part of your NCD. Also, the cost of repairing the damage may be less than your excess.

 

I believe the mag "Performance BMW" has an advertiser in there that do just that. For £75-£100 per year it covers you for 2 claims per year if they are classed as cosmetic. Although the term "cosmetic" might not apply if some Bast**d keys the length of the car.
