Running out of ideas who to call next.

Having probs getting a realistic quote. What do you think?
Cheapest so far Osborne & Sons @ £959.41 + £500 excess, inc legal

1993 Ra with 15' Speedlines on.
37 yrs old no convictions, driving 19 yrs,clean licence, 11 yrs protected no claims,(one minor cliam Mar 02 didnt affect my no claims) Cat 2 + cat 1 in my drive.(no tracker)

Green light dont do imports
L+V dont do Ra's
Privilege needs Tracker
Performance Direct over £1100
Endsliegh Over £1100
Subaru Insurance cant do because of the claim
Master Quote wont do imports
Direct choice wont do imports
Adrian Flux over £1100
Tesco needs tracker

IM 37. My99 WRX. Clean licence & full no claims. Fully comp with claims protection. 816 with Privilege.
But as you said, must have tracker.

Just had the insurance renewel & in the end had to get a tracker fitted or just got silly quotes of £1700 +

Went with Tesco in the end for £986
Thats for a 25yr old with 7yrs no claims CAT 1 alarm & immob

Depends where you live obviously, but try looking up the local agent for the NFU(National Farmers Union) Mutual ! I kid you not (& I'm no farmer !) I've a modded classic wrx, 37 y/old full protected ncb £620.... Up to you of course, but they dont even need an alarm, let alone a tracker.....

You need to speak to L&V again, if you speak to one of the women you actually get somewhere, if its one of the blokes then your banging your head against the wall. Ask if they can go back to the underwriters and get a price for your car (they did for my Spec C )
