Question

If I sell my current car and am waiting for a new one to turn up in 6-8 weeks can I pause my insurance?

Do I just leave it running (waste of money 2 months ins for bugger all) Or cancel it.

Nathan..

Best to leave it running, your still incur charges by cancelling the policy. Also depending on how many years no claims discount you have, you can carry on earning.

Not sure you can have 2 olicies running on one car at the same time. If you sell the car then the buyer might not be able to insure it as there is already a policy on it. Same thing goes for finance on cars I think.
