Right then, have just had the renewal through and I thought what a nice surprise, £180 cheaper!! Then I remembered that 5 points came off last year, but I had another 5 to go on! Called Tesco and back up to £1031.

Stats-

Me 29
Full NCD
No crashes - ever!!!!!!
Car 01 WRX No mods
HP2 postcode
Garaged
SP30 5 points 2000
SP50 5 points 2003

Has anyone else had to get insurance with this sort of points situation? Is £1000 a fair price to pay? Seems pretty crap, especially as I only drive the car for about 30 mins a week!

Dan

I insured my STi3, 8 points, Full NCD but with 2 'fault' crashes (one pretty expensive) and 1 no fault crash, again I'm 29 insurance was £1800.

So your price looks pretty competative
