Opened my renewal premium on saturday, and it said £1929 for MY99 WRX!! This has DOUBLED since insuring it last October. If I was 18, I'd understand but at 32, with no points and 7 years no claims, it's a bit much.

Comments please guys - who's got a MY99 WRX , is the same age as me, and where do you insure it??

If you phone up just ask what discount they will give if you say yes now....i found its usually another 10% (got 2 cars insured with them)

 

It is their way of saying they no longer want to insure your car.

 

I think that is exactly the case, they don't want my business

Down to £1019 now with elephant.co.uk, so I'm still searching...

 

elephant.co.uk seem to have an appetite for Scoobs at the moment - £701, 32yo couple, 8yrs protected NCB, garaged, exhaust/filter/brakes modes, £350 excess.

 

Now accepted a quote with Admiral at £957, so I'll be able to forget about insurance until next October now!
