Just wondering whether having tints has made any difference to anyones insurance quote.
I had mine done on delivery of the STi8, but just realised I haven't mentioned it to the insurance company - what has everyone else done ?
I don't want to invalidate the insurance by not mentioning it, as I assume its a modification, but was wondering whether I could expect a nasty rise in the cost of the insurance.
Any comments appreciated

We rang before we had ours done... They asked why we were having it done.. said it was to keep the newborn out of the sun.. no charge... Don't know what would have happened if we'd said 'cos it looks cool!

What about the glass protection films? they can be tinted and would be an added security item, what the insurance firms would say I don't know. I have been considering this for my STI8.
