Does anyone know where to go for a decent Quote? :-
33 Year old single driver, last 3 years with company car, got the lock smashed in and was claimed for 2 months ago. Previous 7 years NCD with own insurance, One SP50 3 point fine two years ago.
I'm after a STI UK MY03 for class one business use. Any ideas???

SO Far No success - the door lock incident makes alot of poeple give me ZERO NCD - hence Quotes for between 5 and 6 THOUSAND POUNDS. I've just finished on the phone with Subaru - They will not insure me at all on an STI.
I Finally got a quote for £2180 for a standard NO MODS WRX.
Do they want me to buy a STI?? - apparently not - Any Help would be gratfully recieved............

Do you have to declare the lock smash ?
if this was on the company car then it was company insurance and not a personal claim. so you personally have not had a claim in the last five years.
if its any concelation i'm having a ******* of a time trying to get an insurance company to recognise my WRX SL with or without PPP.
its a con alround.

Foxmod, the reason I asked is not many Insurance companies guarentee that price for long, Insurance rates change every month. One month it could be higher or the other lower, and in extreme cases they won't quote anymore on that 'risk'. Ring the company and check this so you don't get a nasty suprise when the car is delivered. If they will guarentee the rate get it in writing.
Good luck

Simb,
Thanks for the advice, the quote is valid for 60 days, I'll just need to keep getting it re-newed towards the end for this period until I take out the cover, when I get a delivery date. I'm putting £500 down as deposite, I guess if the insurance is rejected I'll just lose that.
