Just got a quote from Tesco and it turned out to be okay even with my mods/options. However, I normally have NCD protection but this would have added £120 to the premium. The guy on the phone talked me out of having it by saying that because I have 7 years NCD, even if I had a claim that would only take me back to 5 years, and they don't give any additional discount above 5 years anyway.

So, I'm going ahead without the NCD protection. Just wondering if I've been stiffed or if it's the right decision...
