Mods please leave in here for a little while cos the responce in the insurance forum was very poor. Thanks

Anyone whose with Axa insurance been able to insure a modified car, does anyone know if they will bump up my premuim for a front lip and 17s, or will they refuse me insurance.

How about people with PPP fitted, was axa ok with this, how much did they hike up the premuim by. ????

Cheers peeps

I am with AXA and they told me that cosmetic mods are ok, e.g. spoilers etc, they even took the backbox as cosmetic. They didn't charge me for 17's either.

Don't know about PPP though, I think that will cost you as it increases the power of the car.

Crawford.

My evo 6 was with Axa through A-plan that had power mods and not cosmetic ones and they were fine with those.. just tell them and they added a bit on.
