I know this may not be the right section to post this on but where is the best places to go to insure the Scooby up here in Scotland ?and in all your opinions who is the best although maybe not the cheapest!

Don't know about "scottish" insurance being cheaper mate.
Stick to the companies generally accepted on Scoobynet; Liverpool Victoria seems to get quite a good write-up, even for cars with major mods.

Oh , here is the trick for cheaper car insurance...
I am the main driver (policy holder) and I have my mother on there as a named driver....took 300 squid off the premium!! it was the girl giving me the quote who recomended this....nice girlie !

believe it or not Admiral,(1994 Wrx) £720 - saved me over £300 on closest quote.( age 34, fully comp, protected n.c.b.)i was also advised to put female named driver on policy for discounted quote.
