Given the amount of modifications seen on Scoobynet, it would be quite interesting to find out how much people are paying for insurance.
And no smart Alec remarks about "just don't declare it!"
My MY02 WRX as standard was 895.00 fully comp for a 27yr old male driver with 4 years no claims and 3 points.
P.S. Apologies if this is in the wrong thread.

Privilege have just stung me for an EXTRA £420 for adding a big rear spoiler, front end spoilers and a decat exhaust. The basic premium was fine but I'll be looking elsewhere now.

I insured my 01 WRX for £650.00, including business use, with Tesco in June last year, soon after I had the PPP fitted and upon informing them was asked for another £150.00. Just 2 months ago I had a set of 18" Speedline alloys fitted and they asked for another £40.00.
I am told that the premium will increase further when I renew! WHY? I ask, I am 41, 3 points for speeding (in a Ford Courier 1.8 diesel VAN!)No accidents for many years, the 3 points are my first for 11 years.
I will look around when renewal comes up, Sainsbury's are said to be good and there are some specialists through the SIDC.
