Default Insurance hike

After 4 years of insuring my spec c with no issues and always around the £400 mark I was informed today "great news, your new premium is £499".
I was under the understanding that insurance has come down slightly, especially with an extra years no claims.
Has anyone else else experienced this?

Thanks for the replies, I'll suck it up then, just seems a lot for something that's off the road for 6 months a year and does less than 1000 miles.
